Girl at the Rock Shows

I introduced you to my new favorite local band Cheap Bouquet just a couple of weeks ago when I shared out their single “HEART PUNCH!”. I’m back today with another new song from this new band to hit the Twin Cities music scene just in case you missed that first one.

This song is titled “Sorry For Your Loss” and it’s just as catchy and perfect as “HEART PUNCH!” was. Although they are a new band and should still be settling into their sound and vibe, Cheap Bouquet seems pretty settled into their pop-punk perfect world with no shortage of angst and clever lyricism. This song in particular is about “bridging the gap between bawling your eyes out and going for the throat” after a break up that was messy at best. Although I haven’t been through a breakup in some time, I found this song so relatable and feel like it could be applied to so many other aspects of life. Long story short, Cheap Bouquet continues to be a stand-out in this scene that I call home and I am so excited to hear even more from this band sooner rather than later.
