The day is just trucking along and so am I. It feels good to get stuff done and be in a headspace where I know I can only do what I can in one day. I’m feeling free of stress, panic, and anxiety. Honestly, I know this probably won’t last but let’s capitalize on this fresh feeling by checking out another new song.
“Tiki” is the first track from Colider’s album ‘For The Space Age’. I love the way this song comes off as very past-paced punk styled but how there’s a clear grunge influence in the track at the same time. There’s something raw about not only the composition of this song, but also the recording quality. You could call it “rough around the edges” but I think that imperfect perfection of this song just adds to the DIY vibe that Colider pulls off so well. This song is fast so, even though it’s a bit over three minutes long, it will feel like it’s done in the blink of an eye. Have no fear though, Colider’s album ‘For The Space Age’ is already out there for you to dig into once you inevitably get hooked by “Tiki”.
