Honestly, I’m honored that I get to hear new music before the general public. It excites me to get a taste of what’s to come and I feel like it helps me predict trends of what I will be inundated with in the near future but it’s not all about me. What I love more than anything else is getting to debut new songs with you, my readers, and hope you feel the same joy about it that I do. In the case of Eleanor Underhill’s new track “Just Enough Trouble”, I think it’s safe to assume that you will feel that joy, the thrill, and the excitement that comes with discovering a new song, a new act, a new world to get lost in.

To say that “Just Enough Trouble” is catchy would be an understatement. Right off the bat, Eleanor Underhill hits you with an infectious earworm before dropping into a song that is just as cozy and warm as it is energizing and bright. Stylistically, this would best fit into the electronic-pop category of things but I feel like there are so many other elements that pop in and out throughout this three and a half minute song that show the true depth of this musician’s art.

Before I let you just listen to this song on your own, I feel it’s great background to know what Eleanor Underhill has to say about this song. “The phrase, “just enough trouble,” came up in a conversation I was having with a friend about a night of tipsy fun we had: it came right up to the line of hangover territory, but didn’t crash over. It’s really an homage to my girlfriends and the fun we get into. Much of my past work has been more journalistic, heart-on-your-sleeve type stuff, but I wanted this track to be more anthemic and light-hearted. ”
