I don’t regret taking the weekend off as a little birthday present to myself but holy heck, today has been rough trying to catch up on all of the jobs and all of the things. That being said, I’m a year older now and that means a year wiser and I’m not going to let it get the best of me so, instead of getting frustrated and letting the feeling of defeat take me over, I’m going to use this odd burst of energy as a chance to catch up on sharing some new music with you starting with “No Future Kid” from Dorfterror.
The background on this song provided to me is in German so I honestly have no clue what it says but I really don’t need to know. This song had me hooked instantly with a catchy little guitar riff and a primal scream. This song has a very classic punk sound to it but there’s something a bit more polished about the overall quality of the track that makes me want to call it slightly closer to a skate punk sound. It’s odd but, long story short, if you like punchy punk anthems, “No Future Kid” will be the song for you. Even though it’s nearly three minutes long, this song moves fast so don’t blink or else you will miss the genius of Dorfterror.
