I shared out “He Witch” from tricktheriddle just a couple of months ago? Did you miss it? No worries, you can check it out HERE or you can just go ahead and check out another new song from this group titled “IDONTLIKEYOU”. Either way, you will end up hearing both songs (and more) due to falling in love with this New York City-based band instantly (and, no, you don’t have a say in that- I assure you, it will happen).

“IDONTLIKEYOU” is a very tongue-in-cheek song with tricktheriddle’s signature brand of explosive and anthemic alt-rock. Written by transfemme singer/guitar player Luke, this song will hook you and take you on a exploration of feelings. It starts with that signature anthemic sound before falling into a bit more of a hookier pop-punk jam and the finally ending with a triumphant close. The movement throughout this song is perfect and, although it’s a cohesive song, I love the way you can hear so many sides of this band in just three and a half minutes. Regardless of what second you are listening to in “IDONTLIKEYOU” and what “side” of tricktheriddle you are getting, it’s served with a positively fiery sense of passion and emotion making this a perfect song regardless of what kind of day you’re having.
