Although I’m getting a lot done today, it’s already getting hard to keep my eyes open. It’s not even 11 AM. Long story short, today’s daily playlist is going to be full of upbeat and rockin’ jams that help fuel my lack of energy in a perfect way and that’s exactly what “Death Dress” from Trap Girl is doing right now.

Trap Girl’s sound is pure grit, swagger, and perfection. They have this super cool blend of a very retro sound with something a bit more punk and even, at times, hardcore leaning. Having been around since 2014, theyhave clearly found their niche for being one of those powerful bands that everyone wishes they could be. From the messages in their music that lean into ideas of strength, self-assertion, and defiance, to the sheer power that is encompassed in every element of this band from the vocals to the drums, Trap Girl will make you feel something. Their sound will light a fire in your soul and pierce your heart with a knife of passion. Power and beauty is the name of the game with Trap Girl and “Death Dress” is a great testament to the sheer talent behind this Los Angeles based group.
