Girl at the Rock Shows

It’s crazy how you can go from having one of the worst days ever on a Tuesday and then end up having a great day on Wednesday. Honestly, my expectations for today were low but it’s going smoothly (knock on wood) and, at this point, I’m getting excited for my show tonight. I’m not there quite yet and still have a few hours of work to go but, thankfully, I have some more amazing new music to dig into to help make the time go by.

“Lowlife” from Germany’s Old Sparky may be super short at only a minute and a half but this punchy punk song will absolutely catch your ears and, in turn, have Old Sparky carving themselves a place in your heart. This song is fun, there’s really no other way to put it. Sure, it’s furious and even a bit angsty but, personally, I picked up on the amount of fun that radiates from every spastic note in this track. With a classic punk attitude and and undeniable “God Damn Rock’n’Roll” vibe, “Lowlife” will have you sold within just seconds. I wish I had more to say about this track but, realistically, it’s only a minute and a half and it moves fast so, instead of trying to ramble on about this song, let me just say that you should really check out “Lowlife” for yourself and then show Old Sparky some love.
