Girl at the Rock Shows

I am determined to make today a better day than yesterday and, knock on wood, so far so good. It’s already loads better and the fact that I’m kicking the day off by sharing another amazing track from RATSALAD. is just proof that today is going to be perfect.

I fell in love with RATSALAD. when I heard their track “Nutsack”. Now this quirky and amazing Australian-based band is back with “Armageddon”. The band claims that this song is about “never knowing when to stop drinking beers” but, really, it can be a lot deeper than that if you want it to. Sonically, this song is definitely giving me Sincere Engineer vibes but with a little extra angst behind it. Sure, it’s punk but it’s also a bit heavier than that at times and a bit poppier at other moments. It’s all over the place but what I love about this band is how relatable everything about them is. From their lyrics to the actual sound, there’s something oddly cathartic about listening to RATSALAD. which is why they are definitely one of my favorite bands right now.
