I don’t have anything smart or witty to kick this post off with right now. Honestly, it’s just a day. Not a bad one, not a good one, just a day. Although I’ve never heard the phrase or description before, “Never Ender” seems to be the best way to describe today so let’s go ahead and check out this song of the same name from Anything is Everything.

This group is a four-piece emo meets indie-rock band from Chicago. You may think you know what emo meets indie-rock sounds like but I honestly don’t think I’ve heard a band have such a unique and brilliant take on the mishmash genre as Anything is Everything does in “Never Ender”. There’s angst and a slight sense of desperation throughout this song giving it that emo edge, but there’s also something oddly catchy and infectious about it giving it that indie rock bop. Vocally, this song definitely reminded me of The Menzingers at times but a bit more Banner Pilot at others. Long story short, if you are like me and just love anything that makes you feel something down to your core, “Never Ender” from Anything is Everything is the song you need and this band is the one you need to follow.
