Girl at the Rock Shows

I got to see Spiritbox open the Korn show last night so it seems only fitting that I share a single with you that mentions that, if you’re a fan of Spiritbox, you may be a fan of them.

Please let me introduce you to Reverya- a three piece band from Florida. Although I definitely get a bit of that Spiritbox influence throughout Reverya’s track “Dahlia”, I also get a sound that can only be describe as that of Reverya. This song starts off slow, eerie, and somber (making it perfect for spooky season) but it gains traction and turns into a heavy and intense post-hardcore meets metalcore track. The imagery in the video kind of matches this. It starts off bright and almost eerie before shifting to dark and creepy. It was these intense contrasts that drew me into Reverya’s world but the way they do them so flawlessly is what had me stuck there. Everything about “Dahlia” and Reverya in general is intense and epic. I promise that just one listen to this track and you will surely be stuck in Reverya’s web (which is not a bad place to be). This song is five minutes long so it’s a bit lengthy compared to what I typically share out but, trust me, it’s worth every second.
