Girl at the Rock Shows

They say that third time’s the charm for let’s try and get you on this Deadwell train for a third time with their new single “Same Old Punks”. I mean, hopefully you took my advice and checked out both “Story of My Life” and “Humans Rise” from this amazing band but, just in case you didn’t catch those or didn’t listen to me, I’m back to remind you how great this band is by sharing their new track “Same Old Punks” with you!

In true Deadwell fashion, “Same Old Punks” is a good ol’ fashioned punk song with a more pop-punk leaning vibe but also nods to a more classic punk sound hidden in there. I’m really have a rough Monday over here and I feel like this song and Deadwell’s overall sound is all that’s keeping my head above water right now. This song in particular has an almost floating vibe to it with a light and almost playful tone to the song overall but absolutely zero lack of passion or fire. It’s one of those easy-to-listen-to songs but also not one that can be ignored. We all need a break, especially on Mondays, so take a break, check out “Same Old Punks” and then show Deadwell some love on their socials. They absolutely deserve it and you definitely want to be on this train because I’m sure there is so much more to come from these Canadian rockers!
