I have nothing for you right now. There is no quirky story about how my day is going. No deep thoughts about this Thursday… nothing other than yet another amazing track that will surely help you get through the day.

“In a Glass” is a new single from New Jersey-based Charlie & Margot from their upcoming record that will be out in March. It’s soft and sweet but absolutely has an edge behind it that comes through in the soaring guitar and constant ebb and flow of the dynamics in this track. There’s absolutely a fun jangle in this song reminds me a bit of west coast sunshine bands like Rooney with a slight hint at something a bit more retro but there’s also a slight Midwest emo influence that comes through loud and proud in the lyrics of this track. “In a Glass” may not be the most intense song you hear all day but it will definitely hit you harder than anything else you spend your time with today so buckle up and take this three and a half minute long journey.
