I don’t have diagnosed ADD or ADHD, but I absolutely have it. It’s not bad, but I have difficulty staying on the same thing for too long. That’s why I work four full-time jobs at once (not kidding). It’s overwhelming at times, but just focusing on one job is not in the cards for me, so it’s what works. Because of my lack of being able to stay stuck on the same thing for a long time, I tend to gravitate to short songs. They keep my interest in a way that long and epic pieces of music can’t. Then came “Two Roses” from Pinto Sunshine.
“Two Roses” is nearly six minutes long, which is about three minutes longer than I typically stay with a track, yet Pinto Sunshine had me hooked and engaged throughout every second of this track. Not only did I find thmath-rock-leaningng vibe of this track to be intriguing, I found the composition of this track to be slightly mysterious in a perfect way. This song is silky smooth through and through. While you’re listening to it, all of the movements and “parts” make sense but, when the track is over and you start thinking back to this song, you realize just how much Pinto Sunshine has put into this track and how, realistically, the parts that make up this song really don’t flow that well on paper. It’s Pint Sunshine’s talent and work with seamless flow that makes “Two Roses” one of those songs that you just can’t ignore and one that will absolutely keep your attention until the very end even if you are like me and can’t seem to focus on anything these days.
