I caught you with the name of this band, didn’t I? There’s no question that Jesus Chrysler Supercar is an absolutely hilarious name and definitely one that will leave you intrigued, but is their track “Get Out of Dodge” as catchy as their band name?

The short answer is: Yes! As the band puts it, “Get Out Of Dodge is PURE Jesus Chrysler Supercar. If there is one song that encompasses who we are…this is it!” Although this is the first song I’ve ever heard from this Arizona based band at this point, if it’s any indication as to what they are all about, I want more. This track has a little bit of everything. It has an undeniable swagger and almost He Is Legend-styled southern rock vibe to it, but some moments in the vocals remind me a bit more of an indie rock band with the smoothness that they come with. On top of all this, an infectious energy radiates from every beat of this track. “Get Out of Dodge” is one of those windows-down, volume-up kinds of tracks, and it’s perfect.
