I feel like, although today has been a pretty good day all things considered, everything still feels a bit ‘Beyond Chaotic’ when it comes to the world we live in, so it feels only fitting to check out a band of the same name.

“Wasted” is a fast-paced, high-octane track that kicks you in the gut within the first few seconds. It’s the kind of song that never stops with the energy, making it the perfect fit for that early afternoon slump I seem to be grappling with right now. Beyond Chaotic has a classic skate punk sound, but there’s something almost grungey about some of the vocals here, which gives it a beautiful twist that I both wasn’t expecting but fell head over heels for. When you add in the fact that this song is about having a ride or die friend who, although they may not always make the best decisions, you always have their back, and you are left with a powerful and anthemic track that deserves to be shouted from the rooftops.
