Happy Thursday, everyone. I hope you are all having a good week. Mine has been good just insanely busy. I’m in the middle of a pretty epic concert bender and, as exciting and amazing as it has been, I feel like I just can not get caught up on work because of it. It has me frustrated and tired but I am determined to get caught up today. I just need the right soundtrack to do so and if “Ave Maria” from The Essence of The Universe is any indication as to the kind of music I will be checking out today, I think it’ll be a day where I can finally get caught up and breathe.
“Ave Maria” is the debut single from The Essence of the Universe or so they say. Honestly, I don’t believe it. This song is flawless through and through. From the production to the composition and all the way to the video that comes with the track, this is just all so stinking perfect. The first thing that struck me about this song (outside of the perfection of it all), was the vocals. They are haunting and almost eerie but have a transfixing kind of quality to them that get you hooked into The Essence of the Universe’s world so perfectly. When you add in the charm that comes with the video (which I will not give away but, seriously, it will bring a smile to your face), you are left with a song and message that will stick with you and definitely get your day started off on a calm yet energized kind of vibe. Like The Essence of The Universe says, “Come curious. Stay unsure. Leave a little changed.”
