Just in case you ignored my last post about Tea Eater’s single “I’m Starting A Podcast” (you can read it HERE), I’m here to remind you just how amazing this group is by sharing yet another song from them. This one is titled “Double”.
I won’t go into detail about who Tea Eater is because I did it in my last post but I will say– stop sleeping on Gustaf –Tea Eater is led by Tarra of Gustaf. “Double” isn’t a carbon copy of anything from Gustaf or even “I’m Starting A Podcast” which is great. I feel like listening to this one, you really get to see the versatility that Tarra and the rest of Tea Eater has. This song is chaotic in an odd way. It’s not overly aggressive (although there are moments that feel a bit in your face) and there are no super fast parts where the band tries to fit as many notes as possible into one beat but there’s still something oddly frantic about the song overall. This is a quick listen at only one minute and thirty-nine seconds but it definitely packs a punch making it feel even quicker than that.
