Girl at the Rock Shows

I don’t care what you say or try to tell yourself. If you grew up in the 90s, you have a soft spot for Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit. That was the first time that drew me to “Bang Ya Head” but, beyond the novelty of having the king of nu-metal on the track, Wargasm really nailed it with this song.

Obviously you get a very nu-metal vibe from this track but I feel like it’s so much more than that. There’s metal and EDM influence flowing throughout this three and a half minute long song in a perfect way. There’s something frantic about this song that gave me the burst of energy that I absolutely needed for what it turning into a hellish Monday. The style is almost as perfect as the video. Honestly, the video made me laugh hysterically. It depicts someone banging their head throughout the day while doing everyday tasks. Okay, kinda of campy, kind of silly, but it fit the music and absolutely made me smile.

Seriously, if you’re having a dreaded case of the Monday’s like I am, turn the volume on your speakers all the way up and press play on “Bang Ya Head” from Wargasm featuring the one and only Fred Durst.
