It’s been a hot minute since I shared “Lost Boys” from OUTATIME! with you but it’s hasn’t been that long since the last time I listened to that track. Something about it stuck with me so I was beyond thrilled to see OUTATIME!’s name come across my desk again. This time it’s for their new single “Red”.

I’ll be honest, OUTATIME! calling “Red” a “ballad” seems like a bit of a farce to me but I won’t deny the tenderness that this outstanding band brings to this pop-punk perfect kind of track. this Orlando-based band may have a stereotypical pop-punk vibe about them but the power that they are able to pack into each beat is what sets them apart and makes them a band that is more than worthy of your time. Even if you’re not a pop-punk aficionado like I am, I truly think that, within just a couple of seconds of this track, you will be able to recognize the flawless nature of the song and the amount of fun and lightheartedness that it can bring to your day. In true pop-punk fashion, the lyrics of this song aren’t as upbeat as the song itself leans you towards. Although I’m picking up on the boppiness today, if you’re having a rough day, this would be a great song to swoop in and comfort you by leaning into the lyrics. Long story short, “Red” from OUTATIME! is for everyone regardless of your mood so what are you waiting for? Check it out and let’s show this amazing band some love!
