Brooklane had me sold with their single “Love Is Bullshit” featuring Jessie Paege so I was super excited to see their name come across my inbox again with a new single and, honestly, this is better than “Love Is Bullshit” (although both songs are great).

“This Is Our Scene” is a song that talks about being left out of the mainstream. Although this is meant to be about the pop-punk scene, I feel like it’s something that everyone can relate to in a sense. I mean, who isn’t sick of relying on algorithms and social media for everything? This is a powerful pop-punk anthem that helps call for a show of unity for those that are sick of the entire rat race. It’s has a classic pop-punk sound that leans into the world of Four Year Strong and Neck Deep with ease while making sure to have elements scattered throughout the nearly three minute track that scream Brooklane. So raise your fist and dance around a bit to this pop-punk bop. “This Is Our Scene” is a playful track that will bring you back to a simpler time in such a perfect way.
