Girl at the Rock Shows

I don’t have anything quirky for you right now. I’m having a good day and getting stuff done but, at the same time, am losing speed so that means it’s time to check out another song in hopes that it lights a fire under my ass to keep me going.

2 Far Out is a Swedish pop-punk band that has such a nostalgic sound that it will be impossible to not fall in love with this band within the first few seconds of “Lucky I’m Not You”. Much like how I don’t have a quirky intro for you right now, I seem to be lacking the words to describe this song but that’s kind of the point of it. “Lucky I’m Not You” is anthemic and joyous but it comes with a sharp tongue and lots of hooks. It’s old school Blink-182 meets a slight hint of new-school Machine Gun Kelly (don’t judge or let this comparison affect you checking out this song. I know MGK can be a hit or miss with people) but comes packed full of passion and angst.
