I am beyond exhausted today after staying out a wee bit too late last night but none of my clients or customers seem to care. The emails just keep coming and I feel like I’ve been holding my breath ever since I woke up just waiting for that moment where I could take a breather. Although I really don’t have the time to take a break right now, I need one so let’s get this Tuesday back on track by checking out a new song in hopes that it calms things down a little bit.

“Wasted” from From Here On Out is a song about how alcoholism can be so detrimental to your productivity. Although I’m not dealing with alcoholism, I feel like so many other things could be substituted when it comes to that facet of this song which makes it such a powerful track. There’s a sense of tenderness, a sense of angst, and a sense of desperation throughout this song. These waves of emotions and feelings just highlight the talent of this pop-punk leaning band. From Here On Out has a very clear and polished sound but they don’t let that get in the way of the heart that put into every note and word throughout this three minute and nineteen second song. It’s a great and powerful track that is definitely a solid way to kick off your Tuesday.
