Girl at the Rock Shows

I don’t have a quirky intro for you right now. It’s Wednesday. I’m tired. I’m drowning in work. It’s a normal week day but, thankfully, I have some amazing music that will surely wake me up and get me a bit more grounded than I am right now starting with “Burial Gown” from I Am No Longer A Ghost.

“Burial Gown” is a track off of I Am No Longer A Ghost’s self-titled debut album and it packs a punch. This isn’t the most intense song I have shared nor is it the most aggressive (although there are moments of sheer power and intensity) but it is stunningly beautiful and full of heart and motion. I love how there are so many layers of instrumentation and vocals yet everything throughout this five minute song comes through loud and clear. All of these layers come together to create a sound that is so easy and beautiful to get lost in making it the perfect track to help you get on track with your day if it started off a bit rocky. ‘I Am No Longer A Ghost’ is not out until October 25th of this year but I have a feeling you will be hearing a few more singles from this band in this blog before then so, if you like this, keep watching my blog and I Am No Longer A Ghost’s socials for more gorgeous gems like “Burial Gown” in preparation for the debut album.
