Girl at the Rock Shows

twentytwo. is one of those bands that is aging like a fine wine and their new song “Surrounded” is proof of that. I have shared out two previous songs from this amazing band (“Big Feeling” and “The Sound“) but I truly think that “Surrounded” is their best track yet.

This song is anthemic and bombastic. It’s full of life but, more importantly full of heart. This song is about being there for someone important during a time of need. I love how this is such a tried and true basis for a song but twentytwo. flips the script ever so slightly as they sing about just being there for the people you love. It’s a touching song and one that we can all relate to at one time or another. The upbeat bounciness of this track will instantly get stuck in your head and leave you with your toes tapping and your head nodding. twentytwo. already has a lot of songs out there and there are surely more to come so, if you love “Surrounded” I highly suggest you check out their other material out there and show this band some love on their socials. They are clearly working hard and grinding which means there is a whole lot more to come from this Pennsylvania punk band.
