Girl at the Rock Shows

I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I know I did but it was insanely busy. I caught so much live music and am honestly still trying to process it all but time doesn’t wait for that and we are already at Monday morning and I am busy getting caught up on all of the work I ignored while living the rockstar life all weekend. I need to get work under control but I also need some new music to keep me going so let’s start the day off with “Qui Nous Donne La Vie” from Jackass Band.

Jackass Band may be the first band I’ve ever been introduced to from Kazakhstan and they absolutely have my attention. “Qui Nous Donne La Vie” is explosive and full of energy. I love the edge that comes with this track in particular but also love the beautiful melodies and soulful vocals that reign supreme throughout the three and a half minute song. The only thing I felt this was missing was extreme dynamics to match the power but, at the end of the day, this song hits and hits hard without dramatic dynamics. I’m really not familiar with the scene in Kazakhstan but, after listening to “Qui Nous Donne La Vie” from Jackass Band a couple of times this morning, I can’t help but be intrigued.
