Girl at the Rock Shows

I’m not sure what’s going on today but I have the worst headache and just can not seem to shake it. It’s frustrating but I’m absolutely in the mood to get stuff done but, as soon as I start concentrating in on something, my head starts throbbing. I’m sure it’s nothing and probably just a mixture of stress and lack of sleep but here we are and I’m trying everything in my power to push through. That being said, now feels like a good time to take another breath and check out another new track.

“Chameleon” is the third single from Sheffield, UK-based 2x fast and it is pure pop-punk perfection. It’s one of those songs that, depending on your mood, can either make you smile from ear to ear or put you all up in your feelings. For me today, it had me smiling from ear to ear. This bright jam is full of personality and fun along with that classic pop-punk energy of bands from the past. Like any good pop-punk song, there’s a slight amount of angst that comes through in the lyrics of this track as they tell the story of thinking you know somebody only for them to completely change into something else. I wish I had more to say about this bombastic single but, truly, it’s just pop-punk-perfection through and through and, sometimes, that’s all that can be said.
