Girl at the Rock Shows

I’ve had the same playlist playing all day and I’ve been so busy with work that, honestly, I haven’t really noticed it. I hate when I just have music on and don’t notice it. I know that sounds weird especially when I listen at the same time as working but I prefer music that hooks me, keeps me engaged and this playlist just isn’t doing it for me. Thankfully, “Quiet” from Inches From Glory absolutely hooked me and continues to hook me as I listen to it on repeat.

There’s something furious about this track but, at the same time, the song title, “Quiet”, seems to fit perfectly. Think a little Dollar Signs meets a slight Hot Mulligan angst all wrapped up with a little PUP edge and you can get close to the vibes that come through loud and clear in this song. “Quiet” is the lead single from Inches From Glory’s new EP and it will absolutely leave you wanting more. Whether you get hooked by the twinkly guitars, the slamming drums, or the raw and emotive vocals, there’s something here for you to fall in love with. This song is the first release from Inches From Glory since 2022 and, if it’s any indication of what’s to come from this St Louis, MO based band, I think it’s safe to say that you can expect to see a lot more of their singles on this blog.
