My nose is still running and I am still very annoyed by it because, other than that, today has been a good day and I’m getting a lot done. There’s “No Time To Dread” this runny nose or the constant sneezing but there is time to check out this amazing song from All-Hands Down.
“No Time To Dread” is truly electrifying. It hits you right away and continues to pull you into All-Hands Down amazing punk world. This song is full of raw energy and a sense of resilience which is just what I needed to keep me going today. Beyond the power of the instrumentation, the lyrics tell a story of continuing to move forward regardless of how hard things get. The furious pace of this song just drives the story home and the imagery of the lyrics match the ebb and flow of this song so perfectly. At just under three minutes long, this is already a short song but feels so much shorter due to the blasted rhythms and constantly shifting chords. All-Hands Down mentioned that this is not just a song– it’s a call to action and I love the fact that that’s how this song truly feels.
