Happy Wednesday everyone! It’s been kind of a slow moving week for me but I’m okay with that as I am still getting over whatever plagued knocked me out last week. That being said, I hit the ground running with shows starting tonight through what feels like eternity. I’m ready for it mentally but, physically, I’m wondering if I have the stamina for a concert bender right now. Thankfully for me, “NUMB VISION” from LOWHILL is breathing life into me one beat at a time.
The final act in LOWHILL’s trilogy, “NUMB VISION” is a song about the backstabbers. It’s about how people can really suck with the way that they only look out for themselves and blindly burn bridges. It’s an intense subject matter and LOWHILL has perfectly encapsulated that feeling of disdain, hate, and angst so perfectly into this three minute and ten second song. “NUMB VISION” is not for the faint of heart. It’s three minutes of blistering chaos and intensity which, I know, may not be for everyone but it is absolutely for me. I love how, although this song is insanely heavy, there’s order in the chaos and the song tells a story complete with a composition that keeps the song from feeling heavy just for the sake of being heavy. If you have a bit of pent up aggression that needs to come out or just need something to shock your system this morning, “NUMB VISION” from LOWHILL is the track for you.
