I can’t find the right soundtrack for today. Nothing has been hitting me perfectly which means it’s time to dig into some more new music. Let’s check out “PARALYSIS” from Excuses Excuses and see if that hits the spot even if only for a little bit.
The power that comes through in this three-minute and ten-second single is as powerful as the message behind the track. The first thing that got me hooked here is the vocals. It sounds like Billy Talent, which, if you know Billy Talent, is a very unique sound to pull off, but Excuses Excuses does it while not feeling like a carbon copy of the legendary Billy Talent. The second thing that caught me was the message behind the track. Although the song itself is perfectly polished, the lyrics are a raw reality that talks about mental influence. You can tell that the words come from a very personal and deep spot ,which adds a slight darkness to the track and brings a layer to “PARALYSIS” that can not be ignored. Whether you want a song that speaks to your restless soul or just need a powerful anthem to get you going this morning, I highly suggest you check out “PARALYSIS” from Excuses Excuses.
