I’m ready for my little “vacation” this weekend. I’m ready to be in Chicago and be working my butt off with a giant smile on my face at Riot Fest. Long story short, my head is not at work today, but my boss has decided that today is a perfect day to dump a giant project on me. I’m frustrated, but I won’t let it get the best of me, so before I buckle down and get to work on this project, let’s check out a new song.
“Tiny Hand” instantly hit me right in the feels. Even before the tender vocals came in, the tone of the guitar that kicks this five-and-a-half-minute-long song just seemed to evoke such a strong sense of emotion out of me. I really can’t explain it, but I know that it set the stage for an epic journey that lasted throughout this song. With lyrics that talk about loss, isolation, and unseen struggles, I found this song to be as supportive as it was cathartic. I felt seen and oh so very cozy as the sound of Late Night Lies took over my ears and heart simultaneously. On top of all of this, there was this subtle sense of desperation and angst littered throughout this song that just added to the sheer emotional value of the track. All in all, “Tiny Hand” from Late Night Lies is a powerful anthem that absolutely needs to be heard, not just read about so, what are you waiting for? Check it out and show Late Night Lies some love!
