Good morning, everyone. I hope you all had a good weekend. I did but definitely didn’t get as much done as I wanted. Now it’s a mad dash to get things done during a short week, and I’m already feeling the pressure, but thankfully for me, I have music like “Feed Me A Groove” from Electric High to help me get through what will surely be a super crazy week.
It’s one thing to put “Groove” in a song title. It’s another thing to put a “Groove” in a song but this track from Electric High absolutely has a “Groove” and a great one at that. A single from Electric High’s brand new album ‘Free To Go,’ “Feed Me A Groove” is like music for the soul. The dirty and heavy groove throughout this song is as infectious as it is unique. Although it definitely has a slight funk to it, overall, this song is a bit more situated in a classic hard rock style. It’s not what I was expecting given the song title, but it was what I needed this sleepy Monday morning. I love how this song filled me with a sense of energy and made me want to dance even though, right now, dancing is probably the last thing I have time for. “Feed Me A Groove” isn’t an aggressive song in the average sense of the word yet it has a slight edge to it that really makes the swagger behind this three and a half minute song pop.
