I was so optimistic about today. I was going to get all kind of caught up on work and be able to keep a positive attitude through it all. Unfortunately, that’s not the way my day is going and, email after email, my Monday morning smile is fading. Let’s hope that checking out “All In” from Royals will get me back “All In” for a positive and productive Monday.
The opening track for Royals’ debut album ‘High Stakes & Heartaches’, “All In” radiates pop-punk positive and has an infectious spirit that will turn around even the worst case of the Mondays for you. This song jumps right into a classic pop-punk world. It definitely has that State Champs kind of boppiness while not losing a more Neck Deep kind of edge. I love how this song is super confident. It tells the story of taking risks and putting everything on the line because, ultimately, life is just too short to not do that. There’s something almost cocky about the approach to this message of this song but it’s not in a rude way. “All In” is the kind of song that pushes you to follow your dreams and be true to yourself and, on a Monday where my day job seems to be getting the best of me, this is seriously the kind of energy I needed.
