Girl at the Rock Shows

Okay, I freaked out this morning. I’ll be honest, it was a rough couple of hours but those rough seas have given up on trying to ruin my day and I’m back into a groove and a better mood. This calls for a little celebration so let’s take a break and celebrate by checking out “Misinformation” from Jacuzzi Fuzz and just hope that after this journey is done, things are still more sunshine and rainbows than doom and gloom when I get back to my email.

Kind of ironic that I used the phrase “sunshine and rainbows” right there because that’s what this song feels like. Jacuzzi Fuzz band is a Miami reggae rock band with emphasis on the reggae side of things. Although “Misinformation” is a super serious song about the current state of politics and everything else that’s going wrong right now, this track brought a smile to my face. Something about the super harsh lyrics and the way they blend with the super chill instrumentation almost feels like a message of knowing that you can only do so much. Maybe I’m going a bit deep here and completely missing the mark when it comes to this song but this song felt like a perfect reminder to now get wrapped up in all of the craziness of the world. Acknowledge it, be educated on it, but remember that you only have one life and if you get lost in the craziness of it all, you may lose yourself. Seriously, this could not have been a more perfect song for me right now and I truly believe that this is a perfect song for the current times so what are you waiting for? Bring some sunshine to your day in the form for Jacuzzi Fuzz and their song “Misinformation.”
