I hate being called an “influencer” but, I guess at the end of the day, that’s kind of what I am. I would rather be referred to as a “FunFluencer” though after hearing this amazing song from The Frickashinas.
The first release from their new album which is due out on May 8th, “FunFluencer” is a super fun and explosive track that is signature The Frickashinas. What do I mean by that? Well, this band is so good at having poignant and important messages behind their songs but also make sure to make it fun for the listener. This track is proof of that. It’s a song about keeping your head up and moving on for all of the bad that may plague you. It’s about running away from the storm cloud, keeping your head above water. Simple enough, right? Honestly, probably not that simple. As the band’s new current motto states, “Do you know hard it is to write postive songs in this environment?” It’s true. It’s hard to keep it positive during this day and age but The Frickashinas does it so well while addressing the struggle that is staying positive. Seriously, if you are not counting down the days until their new album drops, what are you even doing? Get on The Frickashinas train right now!
