Time is winding down on the weekend and I still have so much to do but I’m not going to get into the stress or the panic. Instead, I’m going to keep a level head and just trucking away on things until time is gone and, at that point, I will just come to terms with the fact that I can’t make more time. This is all so much easier said than done for someone like me but I’m trying my best to stick with it and need some music to help me with it so let’s take a break and check out “Butterflies” from Post Script Philosophy.

Their first single in almost twenty years, “Butterflies” instantly his the spot. Post Script Philosophy somehow captures the anxiety and tension happening in my heart and soul right now while acting as a bit of a comfort or support system. This song is so much deeper than my end-of-weekend-anxiety. Truthfully, it’s about making sense of loss while not letting the things you love fall to the wayside. It’s a gorgeous message and this song matches that. From moments that will make you want to raise your arms in triumph to other moments that may make you tear up a wee bit, “Butterflies” runs the gamut when it comes to the emotions this three and a half minute song will make you feel. One thing that will not change from person to person is the fact that this song will get you stuck in Post Script Philosophy’s world and, trust me, that’s a beautiful world to be in.
