Girl at the Rock Shows

I like to find the deep meaning in music. I look for things I can relate to, things that evoke a sense of emotion out of me. That being said, every once in a while, I find a song that is just straight-up silly and doesn’t make me feel anything other than joy and smiles. That’s exactly what happened the first time I heard “asslesschaps.biz” from J’cuuzi.

Stylistically, this song is way out of left field compared to what I typically share. It’s electronic-based with an almost industrial-style backdrop. It comes with a bright video full of unique clothing, glitchy dance moves, and slight nudity. Really, not my thing, but when you mix the sound with the video, I just could not get enough of this song. It’s silly. I mean, come on, the song title alone should bring at least a chuckle to your breath. Maybe there’s a deep meaning to this song. Maybe there’s some imagery in this video that should mean more to me than just funny dance moves with elaborate costuming, but I’m just not getting it. What I am getting is pure joy and fun, and sometimes that’s more than enough to get you hooked.
