Okay, I know I just shared “rain” from Go For Gold with you yesterday but, since then, I just can’t seem to get enough of this band so why not share out yet another song from them just to make sure you understand how important it is that you pay attention to this group.
“TIME:BOMB,” as the band puts it, is “a song to play when you feel like the world is against you.” I’m not having that feeling today. Honestly, it’s been a pretty good morning for me, even though it’s been nonstop since I got to the office. That being said, the energy of this song hit right to my core in the perfect way. Go For Gold has this way of balancing tenderness with angst so perfectly, and, somehow, every song I hear from them hits absolutely perfectly, with this one being no exception and I feel like, yes, it’s a perfect song for when everything feels like it’s going wrong for you but also a perfect song for one of those days where you don’t know what to listen to, you just want music that makes you feel. “TIME:BOMB” will absolutely make you feel. Go For Gold can’t make music in any other way and that’s why they are a band that I absolutely have my eyes (and ears) glued to right now.
