Is it about to be a full moon, a new moon, or something else like that? Something is weird today, and it’s not just the super-nasty and muggy weather. People are acting strangely. Everyone seems to be in a bit of a panic, and I feel like they are just being straight-up rude today and, quite frankly, I’m over it. Instead of dealing with it, I plan on escaping into a whole new world brought to me by Alpine Loop.

“Overtime” is a song from Alpine Loop’s brand new album ‘Making A Scene,’ which was mixed by the legendary James Paul Wisner. Like many of the albums mixed by Mr. Wisner, this album and “Overtime” in particular are an instant classic for any post-hardcore, pop-punk-leaning fan. It’s an aggressive little bop that starts off with a wicked guitar solo, but it also has these moments of pure infectious bounciness. Add in a brutal breakdown right around the halfway point of this track, and you are left with a song that keeps you on your feet as much as it keeps your head in the clouds. There’s so much going on throughout “Overtime” and so many different moods that this is the perfect escape for you if, like me, you’re just feeling like the world is a bit off today. Let Alpine Loop keep you company and keep you sane through the insanity with their brand of musical perfection.
