Another week, another flawless song from Bleeker. This has become “a thing,” and I won’t apologize for it. I just can’t get enough of Bleeker, so every time they send me a new song, I feel the need to share it with you. I hope you’ve been paying attention to this band, but in case you’ve been ignoring me, here’s a friendly reminder that this group is absolutely worth your time and attention.

As Bleeker puts it, “Something On You” is “one of those ‘toughen up’ type songs” and, on a sleepy Wednesday morning, it’s the kind of energy we all need. In true Bleeker fashion, this song is the perfect blend of grit, emotion, and relentless energy. It’s got a swagger behind it that will make you want to get up and start moving while giving you a burst of positive energy to help you get through your day, no matter what it has in store for you. Sonically, this song is very much situated in the alt-rock vein of things, but you can hear little glimmers of everything from pop-punk to anthemic hair metal (okay, maybe that’s stretching it a little bit, but I think you’ll understand this if you check the track out).
