Do you remember the “Unforgivable” videos from when YouTube was just getting going? Maybe I’m showing my age with this one, but that’s where my head went as soon as this new Divine Destruction song landed on my desk. Those videos have nothing to do with this song, but it was fun to look back and remember what the internet was like before diving into something super fresh and new.

This song is dark in so many different ways. The instrumentation feels slightly muted, almost blackened and atmospheric, while the vocals feel sinister and, well, dark on top of it. This song is packed with intensity and brutality, and even though it’s only three minutes long, you really get a taste of what Divine Destruction is all about. I’ll be the first to admit this song isn’t for the faint of heart. From that slightly atmospheric metal backdrop to the absolutely insane, intense vocals, this is the kind of song metal lovers will appreciate most, but even if that isn’t you, I urge you to check it out. I could say so much more about this track, but Divine Destruction hasn’t just created a song here; they have created a world, and I instantly got lost in it and never wanted to leave. “UNFORGIVABLE” is a perfect example of not just amazing metal music but also the talent and restraint that come with it.
