I told Lucifers Beard that I would share their single out yesterday but that didn’t happen. Life got in the way and I lost my motivation early on to where checking out new music just didn’t feel fun. That being said, this is such a perfect “Friday kind of song” that I feel like it was fate that I didn’t get it done yesterday. It was as if the music Lords knew that I needed “Frog Class” to kick my Friday off in the right way.
Frog Class is actually a one-man band which is hard to believe as you listen to “Frog Class”. This song so full of energy and life that I honestly assumed Lucifers Beard was a full band on my first listen. Although I would say that this song, overall, definitely fits into the indie-rock genre of things, there’s something different about it. There are these subtle elements of something just a bit more experimental and nods to scenes that are just ever so slightly more aggressive. All of these elements come together to create a sound that is as addicting as it is intriguing leaving “Frog Class” to be one of those songs that is sure to hook you and want so much more from Lucifers Beard.
