Happy Saturday! We’ve made it to the weekend and, for the first time in what feels like forever, I have a Saturday off. I plan on spending the time just chilling, working here and there, and cleaning the house which means I need some new songs to keep me motivated so let’s dig in, shall we?
“Oceans of Emotion” from Ronboy has such a cool sound to it right of the bat. It’s a huge sound that hits your like a ton of bricks. It has an almost industrial style in the instrumentation which seems to juxtapose the haunting vocals in a super interesting way. This song is intense and beautiful at the same time because of this contrast and definitely catches your ears because of it. Beyond that, there’s a hook in this song that will absolutely get stuck in your head for the forseeable future. Julia Laws (who is the amazing human behind Ronboy) has a sound unlike anything else out there right now which makes “Oceans of Emotion” absolutely worth your time on this sunny Saturday.
