Media House – “Waistline” - Girl at the Rock Shows

I thought I was going to have a bunch of time to catch up on music reviews this weekend but, per usual, life got in the way. That being said, it made waking up this morning exciting because I knew I had a whole crop of music to check out so why waste any more time. Let’s start this week off right with “Waistline” from Media House.

Media House is an indie rock band from Seattle, Washington with a sound that is as equally dreamy as it is energetic. You get that vibe right off the bat when it comes to their song “Waistline”. It somehow brought a sense of calm over my stressed out self while giving me a sense of energy to keep on going and getting things done today. The vocals are silky and smooth but, when mixed with the entrancing instrumentation, somehow have this slight grit to them. I really can not understate the beauty that comes through during this entire song so take two minutes and forty two seconds, stop everything, and just breathe in the magic that is “Waistline” from Media House.
