Remember that “Hope and Romance” song I shared out just a couple of weeks ago? You know, the one with the super eye-catching artwork from that amazing band called The Jack Knives? Well, they’re back with a new track and if you liked “Hope and Romance”, you are sure to like this one.
“San Juan Radio Blues” is another just straight up solid track from The Jack Knives. Much like “Hope and Romance”, this song reminds me of bands like The Gaslight Anthem and Social Distortion but this song seems to have just a bit more of a serious tone to it when compared to “Hope and Romance”. Don’t get me wrong, “San Juan Radio Blues” is absolutely a bop that will surely get stuck in your head instantly but there just seems to be a bit more of a mature undertone when it comes to this song.
This track is basically a love song to, well, songs which is just the cherry on top here. It’s about how music is the one thing that’s there for you at all times and, if you know me, you know that that’s something that I thoroughly believe down to my core.
What I’m trying to say is that “San Juan Radio Blues” is a perfect song and absolutely deserves your attention right now.
