Happy Wednesday, everyone. Thankfully, I’m starting to feel better. The strep is leaving my system but now enters the stress of trying to play catch up after basically being stuck in bed for the past couple of days. I’m overwhelmed but I have a slew of new music to help me get through including “Jaguar” from Bugslam.
With a sound that positions Bugslam in the world of Title Fight and Modern Baseball pop-punk vibes, “Jaguar” caught my attention right away. This song is about the honeymoon phase of a relationship and, although I read that description prior to checking out this track, I feel like this song conveys that feeling so perfectly. There’s something so dreamy about this song but also it feels like there’s a fire of passion behind it. As guitarist and vocalist Jason Frankel said, “it really captures what a relationship with someone special should always feel like: free-spirited and larger than life.” I feel like my words couldn’t have been chosen any better to try and tell you what this long is like.
“Jaguar” is the first single off of Bugslam’s debut EP ‘This Is All There Is’ which is due out on Friday so make sure to give these guys a follow so you don’t miss any other stellar tracks!
