Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a good start. Mine is and although I’m completely stressed to the max with work, my Monday night show helped me get the week started off right and I feel like I’m ready to take on the world one email at a time. Another thing that is helping me stay positive is all of the amazing music I have lined up to share with you this week so let’s just jump right into the next track for you– “Glamour Girl” from Um, Jennifer?
Although Jennifer may be a super generic name, there’s nothing generic about the band Um, Jennifer? Their sound is cute and poppy but has this slight punk edge and a very DIY spirit behind it which makes it stand out. When it comes to this song in particular, you get a super quirky music video that just shows you the personality behind this band. I found myself laughing while also feeling all the feels as “Glamour Girl” played through and captured me in this band’s world. The balance of sweet and edge in this song is perfect and something that really hooked me. From the quirky band name to the fun music video and everything in-between, there’s something to love about Um, Jennifer? for everyone so spend some time with this song and then show this amazing NYC-based duo some love!
