StickyBongWater has sent me multiple tracks to check out over the years and, although I always love them, I fear that they just haven’t hooked me enough where I think it would catch some of you… until now. This band doesn’t give up and I’m so thankful for that because their song “No More” is truly perfection.
Although I can’t relate to the story line of this track right now as it’s about the final blow to a frustrating relationship, I can relate to the power and emotion that is in this track. The recording quality is a bit quiet, I know, but please take the time to turn up your speakers ever so slightly so you don’t miss a second of the magic in this song. Stylistically, this band is heavy but that’s not it. There are nods to everything from funk to glam metal and all the way to punk scattered throughout this song and StickyBongWater’s sound in general. As mentioned, this band has a lot out there and I have loved the majority of what I’ve heard. I was just waiting for the perfect song to share with you all and I feel like “No More” is that song. If you like this, I highly urge you to dig into some other material out there from StickyBongWater and to show this band some love!
