I’m having a great morning and getting a lot done but I’m having a hard time deciding what to listen to. I’ve gone from my 90s alt-rock playlist to a deep dive on The Get Up Kids but now I’m wondering what’s next. Could it be whatever Thursday in March has to offer with their new-ish track “Rain on My Parade”?

Thursday in March and Chiefland have come together to make this absolutely stunning piece of art as the final single of Thursday in March’s EP. This emo anthem is truly spectacular and arena-ready. This sound is full, loud, and powerful but, more importantly, it comes with a love and love lost heartbreak that gives the track a very emo personality. The way the vocals go from battling to harmonizing is mesmerizing and the constantly changing composition and moods of this song are perfectly dizzying. This may be a sad song with a happy beat at face value but, as you dig into “Rain on My Parade” you realize that it is so much more than that and it will leave you wanting so much more from both Thursday in March and Chiefland.
