Happy Wednesday, everyone! I can already tell that today will be a music ADD kind of day. I’ve already gone through about a dozen bands to try and settle into a sound this morning, and nothing fits. That’s okay, though. There’s so much fantastic music out there that it’s okay not to settle into just one band, but I can’t even settle into a genre right now. Maybe checking out some brand-new music like “Spinning in Circles” from Worst Wishes will help.
“Spinning in Circles” is the debut track from Worst Wishes. They claim to have poured their heart into it and it’s clear, within just a few seconds, they absolutely did just this. This song has a little Hot Mulligan vibe but with a slightly more hardcore influence behind the track. The vocals are expressive and the instrumentation is emotive creating an almost overwhelming feeling which is quite impressive given that this song is less than three minutes long. It may be sure but “Spinning in Circles” absolutely packs a punch and will leave you wanting so much more from Worst Wishes. I’m not sure what else this band has in the works right now but I know I’m excited to see what comes next for them.
